Always a good place for a drink, especially at Christmas. Great atmosphere with the sound of people having a good time. Looking forward to the summer where you can sit outside on picnic benches in the sunshine.
Having a two night stay in Plymouth we decided to have an extra night rather than travel back on my birthday so booked a single night here in booking.com The staff very kindly let us leave our bags with them in the morning as we had to check out of the previous hotel. We had a lovely comfortable room overlooking the mayflower steps. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. We'd read on previous reports that they only paper cups so we brough mugs with us. I stayed here in the single room, revisiting after my husband had died. We had had 2 stays here and loved it. The staff are lovely and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great value.
