Just the spot on a lovely September day for an Al fresco lunch on the beach. Having been earlier for a drink, we spotted their crab sandwiches on the menu, returned for lunch and enjoyed these incredible crab sandwiches, served with a salad garnish and a filling so thick that it was difficult to finish - the service was excellent and all staff exceedingly friendly. Would go again if we return to Beer for another visit - beautiful village and quite unspoilt. Finally great value.
My husband and myself, visited Ducky’s twice this holiday, we have been previously. Lovely setting, very clean, very friendly family. Cream tea was delicious, one is enough for two, good price at £8.00 . Crab sandwich was good, but bit overpriced! Hopefully be back next year
Been many times over a great many years each time we visit Beer. Couldn't believe it this time, even the lady serving actually apologised for the price charged. £32.+ for two crab sandwiches, a single helpjng of chips, and one small bottle of fizzy water. They only take cash, no cards. This is a beech cafe so sitting on an outside table on the beach, lovely as the setting is, and no complaints about the food, very nice, but we felt well and truly ripped off, not value for money....read full review
