The most fabulous food, really welcoming and the most amazing building. Scouring TripAdvisor and noticing the Salty Monk as we drove by, my wife and I were impressed by the reviews, plus they’re dog friendly, and we chose to book dinner. Booking online was easy, and it shows care and passion being asked to provide a deposit to secure the booking. An absolute hidden gem with a beautiful garden that is like being in someone’s house. The afternoon tea was outstanding and the hosts were incredibly friendly.Did not stay overnight, so can’t comment on the rooms.Food & drinks: We had the afternoon tea which was outstanding. We have had a few in our time and this is right up there.
