The Strand Cafe Shaldon is a cute cafe with a lovely outdoor seating area. It is known for its polite and friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. Reviewers enjoyed their matcha latte and cappuccino, and found the cafe to be a great place to stop off for a drink while walking. The cafe also serves fresh, flavoursome food, including the "Chicken Banh Mi" which is a chicken baguette marinated with oriental spice rub, ginger, garlic peppers and kaffir lime leaves. Their gluten free cream tea is also highly recommended.
