I would highly recommend this pub The owners who run this place are absolutely friendly. Lovely pub! Popped in on the way home and they were very accomodating, they had large parties but still seated us. The food was delicious, we had a banging Sunday roast, the meat was tender and the veg was perfect. Amount was large and we overheard the landlord saying to another couple he'd rather give people large portions, have them leave some than walk away hungry, so great attitude all round. Highly recommended.

The Rose and Crown hosted a wake for my father. The pub was always a great favourite of his and they did us and him proud. Fires lit, generous buffet teas, coffees and an open bar. Thank you Sam and Paul.
