Our second visit to Man Fridays as good as the first. The food was exceptional and being left alone to eat and enjoy the company is what this place is about. The shared seafood Platter is a spread of food and only the exceptionally large appetite will need a side of chips. I love that this place is only open Thursday and Fridays. Whenever in Torquay it is now my go to place. I do not consider the prices to be high for peace and quite and good food.

As seasoned travellers with a fetish for seafood we’ve certainly tested the opposition and sadly this place just doesn’t cut the mustard. It’s a shame as the food itself wasn’t bad, the crab and lobster were tasty, as were the mussels, and presentation was good but that’s where it stops. Initial gut reaction was lack of a welcome. We came across this restaurant just walking around. It was peak time on a Saturday night and not busy at all. How can this be?? This restaurant is amazing. They didn't have the specials on, but with the seafood platter on the menu this really doesn't matter. Didn't bother with starter. The platter could easily have fed 3 people with the fries. Dessert also lovely. The quality and quantity of the food made this excellent value for money.
