The waitress clearly enjoys her job as she was all smiles and made us feel very welcome and looked after This is the second time I’ve gone here and certainly not the last
Definitely recommend and they seem to serve food at times other pubs have their kitchen closed
Opening early for people to eat straight after work in the way home it ticks lots of boxes

“This place is a gem. The best pub in the area. It is a time machine and you could easily be in 1979 or even 1959. If that is what you want this is the place. The beer is ok but food also circa 1979. I am surprised that frozen savoury pancakes are nt available, with Angel Delight for afters,, but the atmosphere and location overcome all.”
