“Great to be in a busy traditional pub. Excellent service from the friendly chap behind the bar both Monday & Tuesday. The food was excellent, homemade lasagna & steak pie was really tasty & well presented. Will definitely return when we're next in the area.”

“I absolutely loved the Rumour Burger! It had pure meat that wasn't greasy at all. The bread had a seedy texture that added an extra layer. The chips were perfectly cooked too. On top of that, the service was fast and the staff made me feel welcome. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience!”

“A delicious lunch for 2; hubby had a well-filled and tasty coronation chicken baguette and I the ploughmans - no ordinary ploughmans though. The bread was gorgeous; crusty and warm from the oven, smoked salmon and mackerel and a tasty slice of quiche accompanied by a colourful salad with a red cabbage slaw. We hoovered up every last bit, thank you”
