Wow!!! What an incredible find. We are staying in Salcombe and wanted to dine somewhere that offered really good pub food and accepted dogs. The Fortescue was the perfect spot. Amazing food, incredible service with a super relaxed atmosphere. Thanks so much!
The warmest welcome and and excellent meal and pint in a lovely pub. Thanks to Ian Adrian and Sam for such kind attention and for accommodating me on a busy evening; a haven after an arduous journey at the end of a long day. Perfect hosts!

My family and I came here for Sunday lunch, having read reviews,and were not disappointed. The food was freshly cooked with lovely crispy roast potatoes and loads of fresh vegetables. The roast beef was good and a nice large portion. Very good value for money. Worth a detour down the country roads!!!!
