We sat out on the deck on an October lunchtime with the sun sparkling on the harbour. It felt like we had gone abroad for the day. We had the set menu for £22.95 for 2 courses with a fabulous cheese soufflé followed by sea bream with fennel and tomato couscous. This was my first visit to celebrate a 91st birthday and we will definitely return!
Following a very poor dining experience the previous evening at the Jetty for our 50th Wedding Anniversary, our family joined us for a meal in the Upper Deck Restaurant and we are delighted to say that it was a completely different experience. From a wide range of starters to the main courses that included Beef Bourginon , Steaks, Skate and Burgers to several different sweets we could not find fault with any of the dishes. Another fab lunch , looked after by Phil & George. Attentive a great service .. And as always the bar staff were great. Complements to the chefs our Sunday Roasts were outstanding. With a couple bottles of very nice Rioja. Cu guys again very soon.Cheers Jerry & Michelle..
