This is a great hotel; rooms are spotless and very comfortable, the Bistro offers amazing views and the food is excellent too (one tiny criticism; the evening menu needs a lighter option). Opted for the carvery which at £20 is overpriced. The carvery included beef and gammon which were nice but chicken portions that are obviously not carved! Vegetables were average although good selection. Disappointing food but amazing view of chesil beach and surrounding area
Really good Sunday lunch with family. 1st class carvery with decent fish and vege options alongside. Well cooked meat and generous veg, the usuals plus creamed sweet potato, delicious leek in mustard and cream sauce, red cabbage, all done really well.
