Called in for Sunday lunch.Used to visit years ago.We had a very nice Roast Beef dinner with a nice variety of vegetables.It was delicious and will definitely be back more often.The staff, ambience and the cleanliness stood out for me.Lots of diners but it was very quiet and pleasant.Loved it.Parking: Few places outside Inn. Small car park opposite.
Had the Christmas Dinner and all the trimmings then choice of dessert from Cabinet ...plenty of food on the plate plus extra dish of vegetables. ...very friendly and helpful staff....

I visited the Village Inn for a meal with my family and had a pint of Palmers IPA whilst I waited for my meal. The pint was perfect. Perfect temperature. Perfect tast. Perfectly poured. It had that freshnes that makes a pint so enjoyable. The barman seriously knew what he was doing and clearly enjoyed his craft.
