Such a fantastic country pub in a lovely location, with beautiful views!We stayed for 3 nights in September, the room was great, and the food was spot on. Loads of choice, local ingredients, and the Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve had.They had live music on Saturday night and gorgeous heated garden pods, making it a great place to come back to in the evening after a day exploring Dorset.The staff and owners were super friendly and welcoming, especially Henry the dog. Went there twice on short holiday in Dorset. First time just for a drink and to admire the views- the location is idyllic and the garden lovely. They have a good selection of local ciders and proper beers (Otter and Cerne Abbas). We went back for Sunday lunch. Lovely tender roast beef with Yorkshires for me. We met friends here for Sunday lunch. On a cold and damp November day, the log burners were lit but having trouble taking the chill off the room but the welcome was warm, the ale well kept and the food was excellent.
