We ate on a Saturday lunch for a big family dinner! Incredible food, fresh local produce and all home made. I had the pate to start followed by the sausage and mash. Homemade focaccia toast, rich buttery pate. Thick flavourful sausages and the mash was out of this world! Highly recommend. Beautiful surroundings, decor modern yet cosy country style! This is a truly wonderful pub. We stayed in Loders (the village) for a week and went to the pub for drinks and food a number of times. It’s cosy, friendly, and the couple who run it are absolutely lovely. The food is superb - a much higher standard than most pubs and many restaurants we’ve been to. Even our enormous bear sized dog was made very welcome. It’s a gem!Vegetarian options: Veggie and fish/seafood options on every menu

What an amazing pub! We turned with no booking, a request to stay in our campervan in the Carpark and a nervous dog. Despite being busy, they were amazingly accommodating and welcoming. The staff were really helpful and made Daisy (the dog) feel right at home with strokes and biscuits!The food was out of this world, you have to have dessert!
