Lovely old pub, but it's definitely in need of some investment, maintenance, and updating by the owners. We paid £40 per night and had the best room, so considered it was exceptional value for money. If we had paid the peak season prices, I would be disappointed. Breakfast was good. as was the evening meal and the staff were friendly. I would definitely return for the same or similar deal. I stayed here in February 2024. So well out of season. They had no draught beer on in the pub but plenty of choice of canned and bottled beer. Plenty of wine and spirits to. The room was very good for the price. Massive bed and tv. Breakfast was great. Staff couldn't be any more friendly and helpful. 100% will be back in the future.
