We had a delicious traditional meal with copious side salad. There are menu options with a continental twist and some for dietary requirements. Scott, the Chef, has a fascinating story and conveys his love of food through the excellent dishes he prepares and the attention he gives to his customers. If you want a simple, affordable, step back in time, don't miss the Royal Standard in Upwey, where time has stood still and the ales are as good as any you can remember.
Brilliant evening meal, couldn’t have been better we were a party of 16 from age 4yrs to 58yrs all fabulous food all hot, big portions and delicious the little kids were served first, so no dramaThe Landlord, barmaid and Chef couldn’t have done more, the adults even had a complimentary post dinner Limoncello.
