Great pub, great atmosphere - I would have given them 5 stars but their disparity in beer prices against other Consett pubs of similar ilk needs addressing - £4.60 for Moretti is a £1 more than other pubs....captured audience though.
Nice pub, great seating area outside with a big screen for the football! however a dissapointment they did not have any cask ales on, which is why I have given it 4 star rather than 5.

Proud to call it my local. Great selection of beers and other drinks,and often has sport on one of its many screens, including a massive outdoor one. Have also had the pleasure of some great bands playing, so yes, well worth it.
