Sunday Lunch at Vesuvio, what an experience, combined with an excellent wine selection by Andrew Yeates. One of the finest meals I have had in many years. We will return.

I've been going to Vesuvio for about a year, and this is the first time I've eaten in the restaurant. It was absolutely superb. The food was absolutely fantastic; the service was professional & friendly.Special thanks to Les, Nigel & Sophie Our waitress was an absolute credit to the restaurant too.I'll be definitely going for food again.Highly recommended, but I also recommend booking in advance.

The family and I have been visiting Vesuvio for a while now for a cheeky beverage or 5. Today Vesuvio launched their official menu with Master Chef Matei Baran and let me say it more than lived up to the hype. The four of us arrived and were greeted by the lovely bar manager Sophie and owner Les. They make you feel at home straight away. Ordered drinks and then escorted to our table. We all decided on the same for each course. Started off with the pigeon. It was cooked to perfection and the orange in the jus was the perfect match for it. Then we all had the Venison. Again cooked perfectly, well seasoned and well presented, the brilliance of the use of a delicious dark bitter chocolate sauce was just an inspired choice. I would have added photos to this review but the food was too delicious to waste time on taking a photo. We all had a cheese board each, personally think you could share one board between two but each to their own. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will definitely be eating here again!

The owner mad my wife feel so unworthy of been there it is unbelievable because she did not know the menu. It was very awkward from there on. definitely would not recommend or not go again.

Really disappointing, sat outside in the "secret wine garden" and it was a disgrace, gazebo tied to a an IBC , discarded bottles nearby, rubbish bins situated in the seating area and extortionate prices. One to avoid.
