If you want a bar with a great selection of drinks in a chilled out atmosphere then pop in here.We called in for the first time last week and found games on the table with a bowl of sweets to munch on. Sat enjoying great beers playing dominos and cards.
Fantastic bar - always made to feel welcome, even (especially!) with our toddler, and always a superb selection of cask and keg beers to try. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff - well worth a regular visit.

Lovely bar. I was in Darlington for a couple of days, just wandering around, and hoped to find a nice bar for a couple of decent drinks, preferably local. I was reluctantly heading of to the Wetherspoons, and came across the Hop House. Nice beer and very friendly staff.Thank you - I really enjoyed my couple of pints - went back for my last night, and was diverted from my book by the Morris dancers doing what they do.cheers.
