We had booked for Sunday Lunch. We have been looking for a friendly, country pub for Sunday lunch since moving to the North East June 2022. We have been to the pub chains but you do not get that friendly comfortable atmosphere. We were very happily surprised when we visited the McOrville Inn for the first time. Second time here for Sunday lunch and very impressed. Even though it was extremely busy the wait wasn’t too long and definitely worth it. I had pork which was excellent. Plenty of veg and tasty homemade gravy

The Full English Breakfast was amazing Very tasty and excellent value at £6.95 2 eggs 2 slices of bacon 2 sausages black pudding tomatoes beans mushrooms and toast/fried bread Staff were helpful cheery and welcoming and the nice touch was the chef Steve coming to introduce himself and make sure everything was fine We will certainly be back especially to try the Sunday Lunch !
