26 North Road West, WingateWalked in, ordered a large chips. He tells me the price £3… £3!!! dirt cheap compared to where I’m from, AND best chips I’ve had in years. Honestly don’t go anywhere else, great staff, great food, great prices…. Only thing lacking was a pickled egg, but I’m yet to find a Durham Chip Shop that holds these ? My new go-to chip shop!

45 Front St W, WingateLived in Wingate for 6 months now and have been going here since I moved and never once had a bad meal, lovely flavour and really good portions for the price. Staff are great, even paid with all change one night and I’m not talking £ coins and they were absolutely fine with it. 10/10 recommend
