Bought a sirloin steak today. Dusted it with sea salt and black pepper. Seared both sides added butter and garlic to pan basted till just on the rare side of medium rare.Absolutely beautiful Well worth the money you can't go wrong with good products and with meat like that no need for these fancy rubs.

Gills Takeaway

During our visit to my wife's parents in the area, we decided to stop by 'Gills Takeaway' to grab a few pizzas. We were greeted with incredibly friendly service, and the pizzas were not only reasonably priced but alsoreally delicious ! The variety of items they have on offer is impressive; we even ended up purchasing a couple of bottles of wine. The combination of fabulous food, reasonable pricing, and excellent service is hard to beat. As someone who typically only leaves reviews when unhappy, I can't help but make an exception for this outstanding experience. 'Gills Takeaway' definitely deserves this glowing review ! Thank you for the fantastic dinner; we'll definitely be returning ! ?❤️

Placed a big order at lunchtime for a party on the night. 11 pizzas in total with chips and dips. Arrived on time and all food was piping hot! Food was also delicious. Not our first big order either and the last one was the same.

Golden Fisheries & Pizza & Kebabs Wingate

What an absolute delight, I ordered fishcake, chips and mushy peas, the mushy peas were all mushy and tasted like peas mushed up so that was nice, the obviously hand cut chips were definitely delicately deep fried and tasted like chips which was another pleasant suprise! The fishcake wasn't as expected as I imagined it to be a fish with cream or between a victoria sponge but have to say the lightly battered coating around the fish works a treat ! All topped off with a delicate sprinkle of salt and pepper wrapped in what appears to be paper which was also a pleasant suprise on opening.Many thanks golden fisheries team .Oh the delivery driver was kind and polite beaming with enthusiasm over the other items available on the menu ! Have to say I have never heard of gravy jam but may try that next time .

Ordered kebab wrap and chips, not the usual mixed all together and smothered in sauce....this kebab came wrapped in foil..then in a box, chips with a lovely chilli topped with creamy garlic mayo and side salad was lovely and piping hot happy days.....
