Golden Horse Chinese Takeaway
33 Front St, Langley Park, DurhamAlways come here when we want a Chinese, as the staff are always lovely and the food never disappoints. Always nice and hot, tasty and what is needed after a long week at work. Usually get the crispy house special or house special fried rice then get our own sauces which are really good.

Sacriston Ln, Witton Gilbert, DurhamWe’re back up in the North East for Christmas and we’ve never been able to find a decent Chinese outside the region.
I heard ownership had changed and reviews were mixed but I remember getting food from here when I was younger so the nostalgia factor was at play.
Hats off we thoroughly enjoyed it, had a mix of veggie and meat options as we have a none meat eater in the house they loved the quorn curry.
Salt and pepper chips were nice so was the fried rice. Even got ourselves a few fortune cookies, a lottery win would be nice!
