104B High St, YarmEating on your own as a lone female is rarely enjoyable. I tend to get in, eat, get out! I loved my lunch at Muse today. The restaurant was recommended to me by ChatGPT (it’s the first time I’ve used it in this way).
On walking in I knew it was a good recommendation. I was seated thoughtfully. Offered water. I felt so relaxed I had the fixed two course meal for £20 and a very good glass of Côtes du Rhône. The food was delicious. Soup and pork tenderloin. Service exceptional. I didn’t feel like I wanted to rush. And surprised myself by staying for coffee. I’m not local but if I was I would be a regular. Very good experience all round.

Hobo Coffee House
30 High St, YarmThe food at Hobo Coffee House was stunning, the porridge was delicious and way better than I expected. The one thing I would comment on is that it was a little confusing whether you had to wait for your food before sitting or if it would be delivered to your table. This did not lessen the experience though and I would absolutely go back!

115-117 High St, YarmCafe Nero A great spot to get coffee ,with a lovely courtyard in back where you can sit in the wonderful weather. Great employees who constantly say hello and good-bye. And the greatest coffee, too! Nice and warm ambience which feels you like sitting in your own couch.
Must try Sicilian Lemon Spritz Lemonade, STRAWBERRY & VANILLA ICED MATCHA LATTE.
