Came to Brough for a meeting, unfortunately that venue’s kitchen was closed for the day due to bereavement. Stumbled across the Ibar; small size and not a large menu, but varied and mid priced. Prompt friendly service, had the fish n chip platter, well presented, a bit heavy on the batter but overall tasty and reasonable value. Can’t understand some of the reviews….the waitress and the chef were spot on professional, and the vibe from what I assume to be regulars was friendly....read full review

Been in for food and drinks countless times in the past, but never thought to review because it seems that the only people that review are the ones who have something to complain about. the burgers and the pesto parm chicken (i think its called) are superb, got to remember its not a restaurant, so may not be waited on hand and foot if its really really busy but thats fine, its not restaurant prices either its good value and i doubt there is anything better available in Brough...read full review

A total surprise, never thought a smallish village would have such a â€œGo too Placeâ€. Small and compact, but the people, beer and food are real value for money. Will call in again.
