Best steak pie ever will definitely have it again.........pastry perfect in taste and looks.....the steak melted in your mouth and perfect gravy ....I can see why its classed as award winning thank you for a gorgeous meal.
Visiting the area in our motorhome we were recommended this place.Definitely not a fancy gastropub, thank goodness.Absolutely lovely home cooked delicious food, good value for money.Staff were all friendly and helpful.If you have a motorhome phone up before you go if you would like to park overnight after having a meal. Car park to the rear is quite small, but level and quiet.
Awesome pub. Gutted I'm only in the area for 1 night, wish it was my local. Home made fish pie with heaps of fresh vegetables and a lovely pint of John Smith's. So close to the M62 / A63 it's definitely going into my favourites if I'm passing.
