An update 14/03/24. Called in this evening to share a few pints with friends. Pub and restaurant were moderately busy. We saw food being served in the bar which looked really good.We decided to sample the "own label" ale of the F&C. I believe it is actually rebranded Sleck dust. It was a good pint and at £3.50 all three of us stayed with this choice for the evening. Had dinner here. It has a great atmosphere and ambience. The food and service were good. Slight negatives while located in the village high street which is handy if local, for those like us who dive there parking both on street and in the inn's car park is limited. Also quite busy midweek so recommend booking in advance.

Four of us went for an evening meal and it was lovely. The service was a bit patchy but we put it down to the fact they were young waiters/waitresses.The food was excellent though and the atmosphere was great.Would definitely go again.
