What a lovely place for lunch. It's probably fine in the evening too, but we haven't tried an evening.Good food, well presented, and a well stocked bar with good service.

We went here today for a change as not been before and for lunch out as it was my little boys birthday. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was also very nice. We particularly liked the belly pork bites and the huge panko halloumi bites. Also impressed at how well seasoned and tasty the burger from the kids menu was. Very much enjoyed what we ordered. The lads on the bar were friendly and pleasant. There was a wait of 45 minutes mainly I think because rugby was on. After an hour I asked were the food was. The waiter said another few minutes. But as it was we didn’t wait any longer , it was ready And to be fair it really was nice food with a twist on the mash that had bacon and cabbage in it gravy lovely I would have normally marked the score down but the food saved the day
