Family and dog friendly free of tie village pub with pub games, sports TV, live music and a heated outside area. Recently refurbished to a high standard. Two real ales and a good selection of lagers. The car park, with CCTV, is not obvious as this is down a side street behind the pub. Closing times are not set in stone.

We went with friends for Sunday lunch. They don't have the Sunday roast or carvery like a lot of places, but this didn't bother us as we are not massive fans of carveries. Three had steaks, and one had the large gammon. They were all very good. The service was good considering they were quite busy. Will go back.
