The ship inn is a traditional village pub. There is a good range of beers, lagers, and cider, cask conditioned hand-pulled real ale, a nice beer I hadn't had before, which was in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a nice cosy bar with a pool table, dart board, and TV. Brilliant managers and bar staff. Great local pub with a warm welcome for all. Darts teams on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday nights. Pub quiz and bingo on Sunday. Good appetising and 'home made' food on Thursday/Friday and Saturday, plus Sunday lunches, all at reasonable prices. Good idea to phone beforehand for meals (it gets busy!!).

Love going to the ship always a warm welcome Lisa and Linsey are both brilliant. Great food and always make sure they have your favourite drink in what more can I say not one for going in a pub on my own but never hesitate at the ship
