We ate here earlier this evening. One of the best pubs we have ever been in and in a very pleasant village.Great welcome and service and the pub food was excellent. We had the cheese and leek pies but there's a good mostly meat based range of pies that we believe they make there.

Evening meal at The Wingrove Restaurant on 03/02024. The restaurant was clean and the decor was tasteful; creating a lovely atmosphere to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was very good and service exceptional. A special mention to Heather, our waitress for the evening, who was a credit to to herself and the organisation.

The Cricketers Arms

Three of us ate here on Saturday night, we had steak, pie and a chicken dish all where perfectly cooked. The couple serving us where lovely and friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back as I’ve just been told that they also serve an amazing roast on Sundays.

The Plough & Harrow

I have come to the Plow and harrow a number of times, I have enjoyed it each time, food is always lovely, the food was a little slow to come out, but that didn’t matter as you could taste it was freshly cooked, I loved the V cut chips,Staff friendlyCan’t wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the garden.

Having been a few weeks ago for Sunday lunch for the 1st time,couldn't fault it,superb and good portion sizes. Went again today and sadly disappointed, portion sizes shrunk dramatically, and asked for a bit more cauliflower cheese and £5 was added too the bill. Which was taken off once we mentioned it. The food was OK just not as good as last time,but apparently they have a new kitchen team,so let's hope things improve?
