Lovely family owned restaurant fairly new to the town. Menu not extensive and possibly could do with a couple more main dish choices. Meals very well cooked and delicious.Very friendly and welcoming service. Offers a discount card. Not large premises but that added to our evening as we were not shouting to be heard. Golden wedding lunch so restaurant was fully booked. Pre ordered food, which meant staff knew who was having what dish. Parma ham and melon starter was nice, very well presented but disappointed in my main, chicken was slightly dry but to be fair I had asked for no sauce on this dish, as I don’t like cream. Overall, friendly but I’m not sure if I would go back, next time I’m in the area.

Had dinner here to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Had not been before. Tasty classic food. Excellent service - huge thank you to the waitress on 4 July evening. Great intimate atmosphere. We will return
