Delicious food, lovely pint of Guinness and excellent service from lovely staff. A perfect setting following a long morning walk through the bridlepaths and trails surrounding Burwash.A local treasure.Food & drinks: Delicious blue cheese burger and chips with a lovely pint of Guinness.
What a wonderful little place. And the staff! I don’t think they could have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was travelling with my dog and was surprised when, alongside my own breakfast, a bowl with his own breakfast was brought out. I hadn’t asked for this and was told, ‘He’s our guest too!’Parking is available, although this pub is hundreds of years old so be mindful that it’s a little tight, but certainly close and plentiful.The pub and dining areas...read full review
Brilliant pub.. lovely friendly staff and delicious food. Great menu with lots of specials. Good walk which starts behind the pub takes you on a 1.5hour loop. Very wholesome :)Nearby activities: 1.5hour loop walkFood & drinks: Garlic mushrooms:)
