This was a first visit and, as we had high expectations from reviews from friends, we were hoping for a lovely breakfast to set us up for the day. We were delighted that the breakfasts were outstanding! Great service, lovely food reasonable prices and a pretty setting. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at sumners pond and the cafe was opposite our accommodation, and I wished we had used it everyday! We went for breakfast today(04-12-23) before we left to return to Essex. We were greeted by warm and friendly staff , we had a choice of tables so sat near the wood burner and a lovely view of the lake , the cafe it self was warm and cozy and looked lovely in the glow of the Christmas lights , the breakfast was excellent and good value for money , we chatted with the owner...read full review

I would have given this 3 stars due to the fact that we waited over 45 minutes for our breakfast. However the reason I gave it 4 is because the breakfast itself was really good and the place it beautiful. Clearly a popular spot as it was very busy when we went. We were staying at the campsite though and the delay meant it was a huge rush for us to them check out in time afterwards.
