Nice food and lovely beer garden, all good apart from some confusion when we ordered a Creme brûlée for pudding and were given a Panacotta with Lemon Curd … but they took it back and off our bill , so no problem there.
We stayed one night at this very friendly establishment. We arrived at lunchtime and as we ordered a drink from the bar we were informed our room was ready if we would like to check in. The room was very spacious, very clean and bed incredibly comfortable. We were facing the road but the road noise was not intrusive and we did not need to use the earplugs that are thoughtfully provided. It was lovely to hear the Church bell that was over the road. Excellent service, excellent food. Like the bar snacks menu of small plates especially like the fact that you can have a snack instead of a full meal on a Sunday.A return visit today and I have to say their Fish and Chips was first class. The cider in her is also very very good. Made by the owner seemingly.I have never been disappointed in this fine pub.
