Gosh, we had such a great time! My friends and I went to their very first 'Wine Tasting and Dinner'. We had such a good time. The best thing about The Garden Cafe on North Road is the staff, and not just one or two of the staff: All the staff were so very attentive; incredibly so. The food was out of this world good. To be honest, we were drunk! Wine tasting does that to you. You know you had a good time when there are flames on the table, spilt drinks, and happy customers. :)...read full review

Nice food but expensive and surly staff. Had a £10 sandwich and £5.95 piece of cake, they were nice but the staff didn’t smile or were not friendly at all as per other reviews. No one came to clear anyone’s table, it all just piles up. Happy staff would make a real difference.

Lovely, quirky and different place to go for coffee, snacks, cakes etc. Had the smashed avocado and poached eggs - lovely tasting and looked good. Great coffee and also followed up with tiramisu which was delicious (the cake selection looked amazing) Really impressed overall and would definitely return when next visiting Brighton
