Not living in Hailsham, I used Tripadvisor #7 as I was looking for a cafe to do a pick up of bacon & egg butties, to take to my daughter & family as a surprise brunch. I got a friendly confirmation that they do collections. And they gave me good directions (free parking) The bacon & egg baguette was delicious - well wrapped and hot with the egg still soft set. Always positive experience at Hays cafe, starting with the lovely and helpful staff always doing the best they can , the food it's tasty and fresh and the portions are huge, they got decent prices but like I said 10 stars for the hard working staff there, even they are very busy most of the time.
