Ok so it's not fine dining, it's weatherspoons but you just cannot complain about the value for money with their food. This place was clean and tidy, the staff were excellent. Ordered via the app and got my drink within a couple of minutes and my food about 15 minutes later even though the pub was full of customers. Decent WiFi , lots of comfortable seating areas in different configurations and a large outside area for when the weather allows. Ticks every box for a good value...read full review
I feel the George has taken a down would turn, the table was sticky the food was not at all what we expected, it looked like it had been standing around and just put in the microwave,Ladies toilets not very clean with one toilet blocked with paper, the flush not working at all well.We will not be returning

Always a good choice, you know what you're getting with the food, cheap offers for alcoholic beverages, always great customer service and a great cheap choice for a catch-up with the free refills on hot drinks!
