Well, some one the food is great, but come on how can you make some of the worse sweet and sour chicken. It’s one of the main dishes here. Not the first time I’ve been disappointed by this place.The peanut satay skewers are good.Spent 20 pounds on Rice, satay starter and 3/10 sweat and sour Cantonese style.Parking: Park over near Waitrose

I was in a pickle and had to order a delivery takeaway as I couldn’t leave my home. I set up an online account and ordered for 3 hours later. I noticed an email after the delivery from Lucky Star with my bill receipt. Food £20.80…. Delivery £3 (I live about a 90 second drive away, I normally pick up but couldn’t this time) and there was an Administration charge of £1.90!!!! WHAT!!! A total of £25.70 for food costing £20.80….. won’t be doing that again!!! Buyer beware…....read full review

This is hands down the best qualitu Chinese food in Hailsham. Everything is fresh and tastes clean and well cooked. The owner really cares about the quality and it shows. Yes, they're always busy but that's becuae it's so good! Thanks Lucky Star ?
