I looked at two pubs at which to hold the funeral reception for my father. One didn't seem very interested and merely quoted £20 per head for a "cold buffet". The other, The Yew Tree, quoted a similar figure for ten items from a selection on a buffet menu. The menu had a variety of options, hot and cold, with many sounding very tempting indeed. We held our wedding celebrations at the Yew Tree Inn at Chalvington. It was an amazing day thanks to Issy and her team. Issy bent over backwards to make all our dreams and ideas come to life. The food was delicious we had a hog roast. All of the costings were very reasonable and everyone including our guest with allergies were all covered.
