Lovely place and allows dogs. Dont know about the accommodation part as we only went for foodNoteworthy details: Right on top of a main A road, and while it has pretty secure grounds, something to bear in mind for people with young families/erratic dogs
As we approached the apex of Wolstenbury hill, two things made themselves apparent to me and my fellow traveller; A weariness of limb and throats, what could only be described as dry husks. As we made our descent you can imagine our joy as we spied in the distance what appeared to be a public house. Very nice helpful staff. Had a Sunday roast which was plentiful and tasty. Good hearty food. Did not stay the hotel, visited for a meal only.Food & drinks: Sunday roast lamb was delicious.
