Just looking for some lunch when I noticed Bankers. Checking the menu I saw that they had a special Senior Citizen's Fish and Chips lunch with a drink for £5.95.I ordered the meal having shown my Senior Rail Card to prove my age.The restaurant had a good, friendly atmosphere and I enjoyed people watching as I waited. I've regularly visited Bankers since they've opened and enjoy both takeaway and eating in. It's good, reliable fish and chips - there are also very tasty non traditional options, especially their Thai veggie burger.What I most like about Bankers is the fact you can eat in. It is a casual vibe rather than a restaurant but if you sit at the back away from the queue, it's still really pleasant to have your food and drink brought to you. Food was okay, prices a bit on the high side. The toilet might be clean, but it didn't really looked like it. It was quite busy when we arrived (we came to eat in), but the service was fine and the food was brought to our table.
