My friend and I visited here for the first time, we both chose the Sunday veggie nut roast, which was very tasty.The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The pub is (very) dog orientated and we were greeted by their delightful Jack Russell, Arthur. The pub has the unusual addition of a skittle alley, which was very busy. Visited Sunday lunchtime, had lamb roast: excellent quality and flavours, well cooked across all elements, decent sized portion. The Harvey's ale and lager were very good. Friendly and efficient staff.

This was without a doubt the best roast I’ve had for years. Everything was done to perfection. You would never find a roast like this in Brighton, wish we could! Also my children were totally welcomed, lively pub excellent food will definitely come again!
