Isfield, UckfieldLovely, very hospitable pub next door to the Isfield Lavender Line station. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Was busy on a Sunday lunchtime. I had the homemade Steak and Kidney pie which was very tasty, the roasts looked good as well. A kids menu is available with good sized portions of food. My half of Long Man Bitter was in good form. Great pub and well worth a visit.Parking: Large car park with a overflow sectionKid-friendliness: Kid friendly with a good kids menu of pub favourites (Scampi etc)

The Halfway House
Rose Hill, Isfield, Rose Hill, UckfieldFantastic Sunday Roast served with cauliflower cheese and side dish of seasonal vegetables. By far the best I’ve had locally. A good pint of Harvey’s and friendly staff. Highly recommend. The Chocolate orange cheesecake was also a hit. 10/10

Royal Oak Barcombe
ROYAL OAK, Barcombe, LewesThis was without a doubt the best roast I’ve had for years. Everything was done to perfection. You would never find a roast like this in Brighton, wish we could! Also my children were totally welcomed, lively pub excellent food will definitely come again!
