This distinctive green tiled pub is well run by Harry and Agnes and the beer is always in first rate condition. Long Man tends to feature and usually there is choice of their Best and the Old. A couple of lagers including Stella are also available together with an impressive selection of Scotch whiskies. This Pub. Is a proper No whistles, No Bells. Traditionally run and kept. If you want Beer and Locals, you've scored. But! If you require fine dining. Jog on. And enjoy yourself elsewhere. Be Respectful.

Great traditional pub. Love the carpet, and the vibe. Surely, this must be the best pub in Newhaven? I only had time for one pint - a Long Man at £4.00, not bad at all. I will try to revisit on my way back from France.
