Friday evening, two days before Christmas, we're hungry and thirsty and find ourselves some way from home. We had a large family gathering…. the food was really excellent, the service was good, staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.A warm and welcoming atmosphere.A very enjoyable evening had by all.We will definitely be returning and highly recommend the restaurant/pub.

I went to the George Inn for lunch. Food was good and staff/service were friendly and professional. I'm vegetarian and my daughter is vegan, gluten free so options were limited for me and there really wasn't anything my daughter could've eaten had she been there, so it might be nice if they could cater for different dietary requirements, but I realise that can be restrictive especially if the menu isn't lengthy. A nice meal though.
