I visited this cafe with my husband, 2 small children, and dog in the summer holidays. Specifically staffed by those with learning disabilities, it's a wonderful venture to support in the local community. The staff are lovely and will stop for a chat. We stopped for coffee and cake which were both absolutely delicious. The ambience is very relaxed. We will definitely return for future visits.
My partner and I often visit Rye for a day out and we have now made this place our go-to place for lunch. The staff in there are lovely and the supervisors are so very kind and understanding with them. The food is simple fayre which you must expect given what it is set up for. Went during lunch time, cafe was busy but staff was welcoming and attending everyone with the same care and smiles. At the same time, food came promptly and was great. Definitely recommend it and will definitely go back if in the area.
