“Recommended to me by someone I was staying with and such a lovely venue! Great vibes and a nice place to have a drink.”
“Friendly local pub serving reasonably priced pints and right next to the station (as the name suggests). Easy to while away an afternoon.”
“Great pub, Friday night was live music, cracking pub with friendly bar staff and locals, will be back soon.”
“Popped in today with my dog after a long walk. I was served by two lovely and caring young ladies. Made us feel welcome. I had a very pleasant couple of Harvey's at a good price. Did not eat but overheard customers saying how much they enjoyed their lunch and would be back for the Sunday roast. I recommend a visit.”
“The Horse and Groom is a pub we have been to many times before as we like it there. It wasn't very busy this evening but still had a good atmosphere. Please don't change it, a good old fashion pub.”
“Nice little pub which has recently been renovated on the outside. There's a car park to the rear and a nice beer garden. The inside is rather dated and makes you feel like you have gone back in time (but some people might like that).Huge menu, with plenty to choose from. Good size portions and quality of food not bad for the price. I ordered the bacon and brie burger but the brie was cold and not melted at all like you'd expect. Otherwise, it was pretty good.”
“Great food. Lovely garden with rabbits and chickens. Free parking. Favourite local in Silverhill”
