Great chinese take away with plenty of variety on the menu. Best curries and sweet and sour dishes around. Food always cooked whilst you wait. Friendly staff. Good parking close by. The exterior and interior of the shop is a bit tatty but don't be put of by that. Only complaint is that they don't home deliver but maybe that keeps the prices down.

First time using this Chinese takeaway, and I was very impressed. Nice warm greeting, I was also informed they have been here since 1970. To survive so long, is testament to the quality of food served.Sue was very funny, they're cash only and do not do delivery, Sue described themselves as traditional old school.Will definitely be using Silver River from now on.Excellent!
