Visited for the first quiz night and had a great time. Pub under new management, and they certainly making a good go of it. Food looks really good however we only had drinks on this occasion. Everyone really friendly. Best of luck to the new team.
This pub is under new management. They’ve only been here a few weeks and only started doing food recently. Slightly biased as we live locally and have been visiting this pub for over 30 years but the new people are trying really hard and on the performance so far things are going well. Lovely welcome, friendly staff and good food. Excellent beer. What’s not to like.

Lovely evening at the pub. Menu is simple proper pub food. Had steak and chips and steak pie with lovely veg. Cheeseboard was amazing and plentiful. Attentive friendly smiling staff which was very welcoming.
