The food & drink is always good & is reasonably priced but the service lets it down. There aren't enough staff, they need two people at the counter all the time so that one can take orders & the other can prepare the drinks etc, not one person to do both. There is one assistant in particular that just cannot cope on her own & I pray every time that she isn't on duty when I go there as it takes so long to get served
Have been back here a couple of times recently, unfortunately it's probably the last time, my friends beans where served cold last week, this was rectified and a fresh breakfast was provided, but today I had poached egg on toast, no butter on the toast,not sure if you have to ask for buttered toast ? and the eggs very small, one egg was runny the other was hard, used to be quiet a nice cafe offering some quality food, but has deteriorated since re-opening.

Good for a lazy morning breakfast.Generous portions. Comfortable seating.Well mannered staff.It takes its own sweet time to get the food on the table though but it is worth it.Weekends can be busy so be ready to wait in the queue and at the table or show up at 9 ?
