Five friends wanted to meet in a central area, and we decided on Billericay. We wanted an easy lunch and decided on Flamingo, which had been recommended. We didn't opt for the afternoon tea - do remember that you have to book for afternoon tea. And, the delights being served up looked fabulous, as did the hot chocolate! Went there today for the first time - it was pouring with rain and I just randomly popped in to get out the rain and have a late lunch. I hate a lovely decaf coffee -(vegan milk available) and a grilled hallumi cheese which was gorgeous and a nice sandwich, everything felt lovingly put together- great service - tasty & reasonably prices , plus the cafe itself had a warm atmosphere

We visited Flamingo for an afternoon tea, a gift card tea from the family, and were very impressed with the quality and freshness of the sandwiches, warm sausage rolls, scones, and dainty cakes. Clotted cream and jam completed the picture. Everything was home made, and the presentation with vegetable trims and exotic fruits, set the whole scene for a pleasant afternoon.
